Are Hoverboards safe?

All our Hoverboards come with a digital speed limiter, preventing the boards from traveling faster than 7.5 mph for rider safety. All our Hoverboards batteries & charger are UL certified, which means our products are safe for use by humans of all ages.

Is there a minimum age?

The SIMATE hoverboard can hold between 44 and 220 pounds, which makes it ideal for children and adults. In general, We recommend that riders should be at least 7 years old to be allowed to use skateboards, children should always be supervised by an adult and wear the proper protective gear.

 Is it easy to learn for kids who have never ridden a hoverboard?

No worry about it. Generally, it's much easier to learn how to ride hoverboards for kids, as they have better balance ability than adults. It takes about 3-5 minutes to learn how to stay balanced on the board, and within 30 minutes, you will be good at riding the hoverboard.

Why do hoverboard prices vary so much?

Hoverboards are very simply constructed, the main components being the logic board, motor, battery sections, so although many hoverboards look similar, the technology and internal components can vary greatly. Many cheap discount brand hoverboards use cheap adulterated raw materials, underpowered motors, and non-UL2272 certifications. Usually, most people want to get their money's worth rather than a cheap item with a short life expectancy.

Is there a warranty?

Yes, all our hoverboards come with a 90 days manufacturer’s warranty. This covers faulty parts and any issue that you may have with the board that is not caused by you.

Are hoverboards good for your health?

Hoverboards help you to keep your back straight as you engage your core, helping to improve your posture at the same time. It gives your body a full workout from head to toe without feeling too exhausted or overwhelmed.

How far will it travel?

Depending on the weight of the rider and the level of charge the hoverboard will travel up to 7.5 miles.

How fast will it go?

Depending on the rider's weight you can expect to go up to 7.5 mph.

Will it go up a hill?

The maximum incline is about 15 degrees.  Any more than this and it may not be able to go up the hill. So as long as you’re not riding it up the face of a mountain it may be ok.

Will it mark up hardwood floors?

No… Our rubber tires will not leave marks or tracks on hardwood or tile floors, so let the kids ride away in the living room and kitchen!

Can it handle wet weather? 

There are sensitive electronic components and lithium batteries inside the hoverboard. If it comes in contact with water, it will cause the hoverboard to function intermittently, function abnormally, or stop running completely. Water-damaged boards are not covered under a 1-year warranty.

How do Bluetooth hoverboards work?

One of the most intriguing features of newer hoverboards is the ability to play music from your smartphone via Bluetooth. The hoverboard Bluetooth module simply turns on when your hoverboard is turned on, and the signal is “Bluetooth” until you connect the board to your phone. They should work with any phone that has Bluetooth and that supports music streaming via bluetooth.

Can I cancel my order? (Change your mind/buy by mistake)

Yes, you can cancel your order within 24 hours of placing your order and receive a full refund, a 10% processing fee will be charged for any time beyond that. Can I return my order if I change my mind/no longer need it? 

Yes, you may return your order if you change your mind or no longer need it within 15 days of receipt of goods. However, please note that all returned products must be returned in their original condition and must not have been used or opened. You can refer to our return policy for details.
